Christ Episcopal Church at Fourth and Main Streets was founded in 1855 and built between 1883-84 in the brownstone Gothic Revival style. Architect John Fraser, architect of Philadelphia's Union League building, designed the sanctuary. Fraser retired as a resident of Riverton, New Jersey after a distinguished career.

A fine example of a Carpenter Gothic style structure built in 1892 with impressive bell tower and gable end located at Fourth Street and Linden Avenue until 1963.
